Even though I joined My Khoo’s Chemistry class late in Secondary 4, he always provided me with the necessary materials and assistance to keep up with the rest of the class, as well as giving every student a chance to voice their own opinions and questions in class to bridge our knowledge gaps. The class was nice and quiet most of the time and we all got to really understand the content better. This allowed me to find out what concepts I was weaker at so that I could really work on it for O levels. Originally my Chemistry grade was a D7 and since I joined late in Secondary 4, I was less than optimistic about how much I can improve in my grade for Chemistry. When the results were released and I got to know that I got A2 for Chemistry, I was totally shocked. None of this would be possible without the great help that Mr Khoo provided. His constant revision of all the topics drilled the concepts deep into my mind, and the examples that we went through were insightful as well.
